Complete checklists

Checklists guarantee that recurring controls are actually done: doors locked, extinguishers in place, alarms armed. Each completed checklist is recorded with your name and feeds the duty log.

Fill in a checklist

  1. Open Hamilton Security.

  2. In the left menu, click Checklists.

  3. In "Choice of the checklist", select the checklist to perform and click New. The checklist window opens.

  4. Go through the lines: tick the "Check if controlled" box for each line you have verified.

  5. Add a comment or an observation on a line when something is worth noting (a defect, an anomaly, a remark).

  6. Click Validate to record the checklist. If you must interrupt and resume later, click Continue instead — the checklist stays in progress.

A checklist is also proposed automatically during the start-of-shift sequence — see "Start and end your shift".

Review completed checklists

The Checklists screen lists all recorded checklists:

  1. Filter by date range ("From" / "To"), by site, or search by checklist name or agent.

  2. Two toggles help supervision:

    • "Incomplete checklists": show only checklists with unticked lines.

    • "Checklists with observation": show only checklists where a remark was left.

  3. Click Search. Click a checklist to review its lines, or a column header to sort.

Print

Open a checklist and use the print action to produce a paper copy — useful for audits and client reporting.

Good to know

  • The checklist templates (which lines to control) are defined by your administrators.

  • Completed checklists appear in the duty log under the "Checklists" type filter.
