Review patrol activity

Patrols (rounds) prove the site is watched: each patrol follows a route of checkpoints, and every scan is recorded. The Patrols screen lets you verify that rounds were done, on time and completely.

Open the patrols screen

  1. Open Hamilton Security.

  2. In the left menu, click Patrols.

Search patrols

  1. Set the date range with the "From" and "To" fields.

  2. Pick a search criterion: Status, Number, Patrol (route name), Agent or Patroller (the device used), and type your search text.

  3. Select the Site if you cover several.

  4. Click Search. Click Clean to reset.

Read the results

Each line is a performed (or missed) patrol with its status, number, route, agent, device and timing. Open a patrol to see its checkpoints: which tags were scanned, in what order and at what time — and which ones were missed.

Print a patrol report

Use the print action to produce a patrol report, for the client or for the shift handover.

Good to know

  • Patrol routes, checkpoints (tags) and patrol devices are configured by your administrators; the learning mode used to register tags is an administration task.

  • Patrol counts and average durations are available in the statistics — see "View statistics and dashboards".

  • Patrol anomalies worth an action (obstacle, damage found during a round) should be recorded as events in the duty log — see "Keep the duty log".
