View statistics and dashboards

Hamilton Security turns the duty log into figures: incident dashboards, patrol and mission counts, movement trends. Use them for client reporting, staffing decisions and spotting recurring problems.

Before you start

The Statistics menu appears in the left menu only if your account has the statistics or reports right. Depending on your rights you may see Graphs, Reports, or both.

Explore the graphs

  1. Open Hamilton Security.

  2. In the left menu, click Statistics, then Graphs. A window opens with the catalog, organized by theme:

    • Duty log: the dashboard, number of incidents, unclosed incidents, system incidents, incidents by family, by event, by system event, by location, by post and by agent, event trends, movement (BTR) evolution by day and by hour, and the average incident duration.

    • Temporary instructions: number of temporary instructions.

    • Fire permits: number of fire permits.

    • Patrols: number of patrols, patrols by site, patrols by agent, and average patrol duration.

    • Agents: number of agents.

    • Personal messages: number of messages.

  3. Pick a graph, set its filters (period, site) and display it.

The Dashboard graph gives the overview in one screen — the natural starting point for a monthly review.

Run reports

  1. In the left menu, click Statistics, then Reports.

  2. The Volumes report shows the key counts (objects and values) at a glance; each line can be exported for detail.

  3. Run the available reports with your date range and site filters, and export the results — to screen, or as a file to open in Excel.

Export any list

Every list screen (duty log, checklists, patrols, movements) can be exported with the Export tool at the bottom of the left menu, and printed with the Print tool — see "Print and export data from any list" in Getting started.

Good to know

  • Statistics respect your scope: figures cover the sites you are allowed to see.

  • The quality of the figures depends on the discipline of recording: close events, complete checklists and record movements consistently.

  • The list of available reports is managed centrally; ask your administrator for new ones.
