Manage local badges
Open Hamilton Visitor.
In the left menu, click "Access control", then "Local badge".
Search by resident, plate or site, and filter by expiry ("Expired") to spot badges to renew.
From a badge line you can:
Renew the badge — the confirmation "Renewal validated" appears.
Edit the badge or the resident's badge profile — "Modification saved".
Delete a badge — "Deletion validated".
Send email notifications to holders (for example expiry reminders) — "Emails sent".
Depending on your site's equipment, fingerprint enrollment and badge printing for residents are available from the same area.
Follow companies
In the left menu, click "Access control", then Companies.
The screen lists the resident companies and their badge situation — how many active badges, expiries — so you can follow each company's compliance.
Trace access control events
In the left menu, click "Access control", then "Access control history".
Filter by person, badge and date range: the screen lists the access events (passages, refusals) recorded by the access control system for each badge.
Site access profiles
On sites using the site access module, the "Site access" menu manages resident access profiles and their history:
Resident profile: the person's access rights on the site.
Import history and access control history: traces of profile synchronizations and passages.
Log: the raw journal of the interface, for troubleshooting with your administrator.
Good to know
Badge templates, access control profiles and the connection to the physical access control system are configured by administrators.
Habilitations (who may receive which visit types) complete the picture — the Habilitations menu lists them.
Badge flow statistics are available — see "View statistics, dashboards and blacklists".
