Manage users
Open Hamilton Visitor, click Administration, then "Users management" in the Users section.
Search, add or edit an account: identity, username, password (or SSO), email, site, linked resident, and the Rights group.
Validate. Deactivate leavers to free licenses and keep history attributable.
Manage rights groups
In the Rights section, click "User rights groups management".
Click Add (or edit a group): enter the Group name (mandatory) and compose the rights by moving them from "Possible choices" to "Selected choices". The list adapts to the features enabled on your platform; the main rights:
Reception flows: reception, exit, waiting, pre-registration, pre-registration entry, externals, badge in/out.
Records: visitors, residents, resident companies.
Validation and compliance: validation, direction level, renewals, habilitations, enquiries, out of time, duration overruns, nationality modification, country list, access authorizations, LPE, ZRR.
Questions and follow-up: is-on-site, history, messaging.
Modules: parcel entry, parcel pickup, vehicles, directory, taxi, site access, local badge.
Special: VIP management, export button, multi-site.
Statistics: statistics, reports.
Administration sections: administration, sites, users, settings, templates, countries, configuration, peripherals, tools, workstations, access control...
Validate, then assign the group on each account.
Each administration right shows or hides its section in the Administration menu — build focused admin roles (a badge designer, a mailroom manager) rather than granting everything.
Good to know
Taxi rights groups and resident rights are managed separately — see "Configure taxi companies and ride statuses" and "Manage resident rights and delegations".
Rights changes apply at next sign-in.
