Search and book a desk from the list view

The Desk search screen lists desk bookings in a sortable table: yours, a colleague's, or everyone's on a given period. It is the fastest way to answer "where does she sit tomorrow?" — and a springboard to the floor plan to book your own desk nearby.

Search desk bookings

  1. Open Hamilton Deskbooking.

  2. In the left menu, click Desk, then Search.

  3. Set your criteria:

    • From and To: the date range to explore.

    • Person: type a name to see where that person sits.

    • Click Filter to unfold location criteria: Site, Building, Floor and Desk.

  4. Click Search. Click Clean to reset.

Read the results

Each line shows the desk, the booking reference, the start and end, the booker and the requester. Click a column header to sort the list.

From a result line you can:

  • Click the map icon (Plan) to open the floor plan on that desk's building and floor, at the booking's date.

  • Click the desk name to see the desk's information sheet.

  • Click anywhere else on the line to open the booking's detail page.

Book a desk from the list

The list shows existing bookings; the booking itself happens on the floor plan:

  1. Locate a colleague or an area with the search, as described above.

  2. Click the map icon on the relevant line. The floor plan opens on the right floor and date.

  3. Pick a green desk near your team and book it — see "Book a desk on the floor plan".

Manage a booking from the list

Click a booking line to open its detail page. It shows the reference, booker, creation date, requester and status, along with the desk's details. From there you can Modify, Duplicate or Cancel the booking (see "Cancel a desk booking").

Good to know
