See who is in the office with team presence

Team presence shows who works on site, remotely or is off on a given day — and where people sit. Use it to pick the best day to come in, or to find a colleague's desk.

Open team presence

  1. Open Hamilton Deskbooking.

  2. In the left menu, click Desk, then Team presence.

Filter the view

Combine the filters at the top of the screen:

  • Date: the day you are interested in (today by default).

  • Service: limit the view to one department.

  • Status: show only people On site, Remote or Off.

  • Name: find a specific person.

Click Search to apply, or Clean to reset.

Read the results

Each line shows:

  • The person's name and department.

  • Their Status for the selected day: On site, Remote or Off.

  • The Source of that status: Planning when it comes from their weekly presence planning, or One-off when it was set just for that day.

  • A Desk link when the person has booked a desk: click it to open the floor plan centered on their desk for that day.

Typical uses

  • Coming in on the right day: filter your department and browse a few dates to find the day most colleagues are on site.

  • Finding a seat near your team: open a colleague's Desk link, then book a nearby green desk (see "Book a desk on the floor plan").

  • Checking before calling: see at a glance whether someone is in the office today.

Good to know

  • Presence information comes from what each person declared — see "Declare and plan your weekly work presence".

  • You see the people your rights allow you to see, typically your site's staff.
