Release your desk when you no longer need it

Plans change: you leave early, switch to remote work, or stay home. Releasing your desk makes it available again for a colleague — a small habit that makes flex office work for everyone.

Release your desk for today

  1. In the left menu, click Desk, then Plan.

  2. Make sure the date is today and select your building and floor. Your desk shows as booked (red or half red) with your name in its tooltip.

  3. Click your desk's marker. The desk window opens and shows your booking with a Cancel button; your name links to the booking detail.

  4. Click Cancel on the slot you want to give up — the morning, the afternoon, or the whole day if you booked the full day.

  5. The marker turns green (or half green): the desk is available again.

When you switch to remote work

Your work presence and your desk booking work together:

  1. Click your name in the top right corner to open the profile menu. The Work presence section shows today's mode (On site, Remote, Off) and whether you have a desk booked.

  2. If you switch today's mode to Remote or Off while you still have a desk booking, a warning tells you about the conflict.

  3. Release the desk as described above so it does not sit blocked all day.

The same menu shows "No desk booked" with a link to the floor plan when you are on site without a desk — the reverse reflex.

Good to know

  • Cancelling only the afternoon of a full-day booking is not possible: a full-day booking is cancelled as a whole. If you need the morning only, cancel the day and book the morning again.

  • You can also release a desk from its detail page: find the booking in Desk > Search, open it and click Cancel (see "Cancel a desk booking").
