Manage agents, teams and qualifications

Agents are the users of Hamilton Security: guards, supervisors, operators. Their records carry the credentials, team, qualifications and professional card — and, on equipped sites, their fingerprint for fast identification.

Manage the agents

  1. Open Hamilton Security and click Administration in the left menu.

  2. In the "Agents and other users" section, click "Agents and other users management".

  3. Search, add or edit an agent: identity, username and password, site, team, qualifications, rights group.

  4. The professional card screen records the agent's professional card details (number, validity) required by regulation.

Deactivate agents who leave rather than deleting them: the duty log history stays attributable.

Manage teams

  1. In the same section, click "Teams management".

  2. Maintain the team list; each agent belongs to a team, used in planning and statistics.

Manage qualifications

  1. Click "Qualifications management".

  2. Maintain the qualification list (SSIAP, first aid...). Qualifications document who may perform which missions.

Enroll and assign fingerprints

On sites with a biometric identification device:

  1. In the "Agents and other users" section, click "Fingerprint assignment".

  2. Search the agent by name, username or site. If no compatible device is detected, the screen warns "You have no recognized identification device".

  3. Enroll the agent's fingerprint with the acquisition flow, then click Test to verify recognition ("Modification done" confirms the assignment).

  4. The Reset action purges enrollments when a device is replaced.

Agents can then start shifts and sign actions with their fingerprint instead of a password.

Good to know

  • What an agent can do is defined by their rights group — see "Manage user rights groups".

  • The count of agents on duty and their statistics come from the shift starts — see "Start and end your shift" in the user guides.
