Manage sites, site groups and multi-site mode

Hamilton Security is organized by site: every event, mission, patrol and agent belongs to one. Site groups let supervisors work across several sites, and the multi-site mode adapts the application for central monitoring stations.

Open the administration

  1. Open Hamilton Security.

  2. In the left menu, click Administration. The administration window opens with the menu organized in sections.

Manage sites

  1. In the Sites section, click "Sites management".

  2. The list screen shows the sites — search, add, edit or delete entries (see "Configure general settings and labels" for the shared list-screen pattern).

  3. Each site carries its own posts, locations, instructions and settings; create the site before configuring anything that belongs to it.

Manage site groups

  1. In the Sites section, click "Site groups management".

  2. Group the sites that are supervised together. Site selectors across the application (duty log, missions, statistics) propose sites and groups, letting supervisors filter one site or a whole group.

Switch to multi-site mode

For central stations watching several sites with one account:

  1. In the Multi-site section, click "Switch to single-user multi-site".

  2. Confirm: the application switches to the multi-site operating mode for this installation, where one operator handles the duty logs of several sites at once.

Coordinate this change with your Hamilton contact — it affects how every operator works.

Good to know

  • The multi-site right (in rights groups) controls which users can see several sites — see "Manage user rights groups".

  • Per-site settings (instructions storage, options) are configured in "Site settings" — see "Configure general settings and labels".
