Configure portal menus for site groups

On multi-site platforms, the portal can propose different menus depending on the site group: which applications and entries each population sees when they sign in. This configuration lives in Hamilton Visitor's administration.

Configure the site group menus

  1. Open Hamilton Visitor, click Administration, then "Site group menus management" in the Portal section.

  2. For each site group, compose the menu: the entries and applications proposed to the users of those sites.

  3. Validate.

Users of the group see the adjusted menu at their next sign-in on the portal.

Good to know

  • The portal's general settings (default application, redirections) are platform-level and handled with your Hamilton contact.

  • The portal's appearance (logo, backgrounds) is customized separately — see "Customize the portal appearance" in the Getting started administrator guides.

  • Site groups themselves are managed in the Places section — see "Set up sites, buildings, floors, counters and parkings".
