Design visitor badges
Open Hamilton Visitor, click Administration, then "Badge template editor" in the Templates section.
Create or open a badge template and define:
The badge: name, Width and Height in millimeters, Type (Visitor or WiFi), background color.
The target: the Site, Visit type and Visitor status the template applies to — reception's printouts pick the matching template automatically.
The back side (verso): another template printed on the back, when used.
Compose the badge with the Elements grid — each element is a line with:
Nature (photo, text, field, barcode...) and Value (the visitor/visit field to print).
Font, Size, Alignment, Bold/Italic/Underline, Color, Background color, Transparency.
Position: Top and Left coordinates on the badge surface.
Add elements with the add icon, adjust, and Validate. The preview surface reflects the dimensions.
"Resident badge template editor" designs the permanent badges of residents with the same editor.
Design labels
In the Templates section, click "Label template editor".
Same editor, applied to parcel and article labels: dimensions in mm, default template per site, elements grid.
Labels print from the parcels flow — see "Receive, track and deliver parcels and mail" in the user guides.
Design visitor invitation pages
In the Templates section, click "Visitor invitation template editor".
Click Add and define the page sent to visitors with their invitation:
Site (mandatory), Template name (mandatory), Active, Visit type (mandatory) and Language — one template per audience and language.
Branding: logo, title, font, header color, background color, header text color.
Content sections, reorderable with the up/down arrows: free text zone (title and description), visit summary, and the visible fields list (host name, company, dates, times...) with their order and visibility.
Validate. Invited visitors receive a link to this page with their visit's details and, depending on configuration, the confirmation buttons that feed the "confirmed/declined" status reception sees.
Good to know
Test on real hardware: print a badge and a label on the site's printers after each change.
Signature templates and email templates are covered in "Customize email and signature templates".
