Open the locations management
Open Hamilton Security and click Administration in the left menu.
The Locations section lists the five datasets:
"Places management": the general locations proposed on the event form.
"Buildings management": the buildings of each site.
"Sectors management": zones used by fire permits and patrols.
"Streets management": internal streets and roads for large sites.
"Rooms management": the rooms proposed on the event form (filtered by building).
Maintain the lists
Each screen follows the standard list pattern (see "Configure general settings and labels"):
Search the entry, or click Add.
Fill in the form — name and site, plus the building for rooms.
Validate. Deletion is protected when events reference the entry.
How locations surface for agents
The event form ("Add an incident") proposes the Room (chosen through its Building) or the Place — see "Keep the duty log" in the user guides.
Fire permits locate the work by Sector, Street and Building.
Statistics break incidents down by location, so consistent naming pays off in reporting.
Good to know
Keep the lists aligned with reality: obsolete locations pollute the statistics and slow down event entry.
Sites themselves are managed separately — see "Manage sites, site groups and multi-site mode".
