Open the fire permits screen
Open Hamilton Security.
In the left menu, click Fire permits. A window opens with the permit list.
Issue a new fire permit
Click New. The "Add a fire permit" form opens.
Fill in the permit — the form follows the standard fire permit structure:
Reference and version (assigned automatically).
Work order given by: who ordered the work.
External company: company name and qualified representative.
Particular instructions related to the type of facility.
Work to be performed: description, date ("On"), and time range ("From" / "To" in hours and minutes).
Location: sector, street, building.
Parts to be treated and Operation to be performed.
Identified risks (storage, construction, adjacency).
Protection means against projections.
People in charge of the work and its safety: first agent watching over general safety, second agent operator, third auxiliary agent.
Near the workplace: alert means and first-intervention means (extinguishers, hoses).
Click Validate. The permit is recorded with its reference and version.
Track and process permits
On the fire permits screen, search by date range, reference, representative, author, company or site. Tick "All versions" to include superseded versions of each permit.
Each line shows the reference, version, author, representative, company and date.
Open a permit to process it: record the end-of-work checks and close it, or renew it — renewal creates a new version that keeps the history.
Print the permit for signature on site when your process requires a paper copy.
Good to know
A permit only covers the described work, place and time range; different work needs a new permit.
