Configure room tablets
Open Hamilton Meeting, click Administration, then "Room tablet configuration" in the Workstations section.
The screen lists the tablet configurations with, for each: the URL to open on the tablet, the Site and the Room.
Create one entry per room tablet: pick the site and room, and copy the generated URL.
On the physical tablet, open that URL in the browser (or kiosk app): the tablet shows the room's schedule and lets people book, confirm or end meetings at the door.
PIN codes protect sensitive actions on shared devices; generate the residents' PIN codes from the residents management ("Generate PIN code" — see "Manage residents, companies, departments and services").
Configure display screens
In the Workstations section, click "Screen configuration". The screen explains the recommended display resolution.
Build a screen configuration:
Time settings: the Timer between slides (milliseconds) and the "next booking" horizon (minutes).
Scope: Site, Building, Floor, Room group — which rooms the screen displays; the Type selector switches between Rooms, Desks or both, and "Associated rooms" includes combinations.
Colors: header and body colors for the three states — Available, Occupied and Soon booked.
Display options: the main information shown per room.
Click the generate action: "URL generated" confirms, and the URL is ready to copy ("URL copied") — "Invalid URL" flags a malformed import.
Open the URL on the display device (TV browser, media player): the screen cycles through the selected rooms with live availability.
You can also import an existing configuration URL to edit it ("URL imported").
Good to know
Screens and tablets read live data: no restart needed after room changes.
Presence control (auto-release of no-show meetings) pairs well with door tablets — see "Configure access control and presence control".
