Before you start
You need administrator rights on the portal. The Settings menu is only visible to administrators.
Prepare your image files in advance: a logo with a transparent background works best, and background pictures should be large enough for full-screen display (landscape orientation).
Open the visual settings
Sign in to Hamilton Apps and stay on the portal (site and application selection screens).
Click your name in the top right corner ("Welcome, [your name]") and select Settings.
In the administration menu, click "Visual settings".
The screen has three tabs: Logo, Home image and Site image.
Change the logo
Open the Logo tab. The current logo is displayed with a preview.
Select your new logo file and click Validate.
The logo now appears at the top of the portal pages and sign-in screen.
To go back to the default logo, click the trash icon next to the preview and validate.
Change the home image
Open the "Home image" tab.
Select the picture to use as the background of the portal home and site selection screens.
Click Validate, then sign out and back in (or refresh) to admire the result.
The trash icon removes your picture and restores the default background.
Set backgrounds per site
Each site can have its own visuals, shown once the site is selected:
Open the "Site image" tab.
Choose the Site in the selector.
Upload up to four background images for that site — each slot shows its preview and a trash icon to remove it.
Click Validate.
Repeat for each site that needs its own branding. Sites without specific images use the general home image.
Good to know
Depending on your configuration, additional visual parameters (such as interface colors) may be proposed on the Logo tab; a paint-brush icon opens the color picker and the trash icon restores the default.
Images are shared with all users the next time they load the portal — no other action needed.
Click Back at any time to return to the administration menu without saving.
