Configure Microsoft Graph
Open Hamilton Visitor, click Administration, then "Graph configuration" in the Configuration section.
Select the Site (or the general configuration).
Enter the identifiers of the application registered in your Microsoft tenant, and validate ("The modification was successful"). The delete action resets the configuration.
The Graph connection powers the Microsoft 365 integrations of the visitor flows (notably calendar and directory lookups, per your platform's features).
Configure the email sending (SMTP)
In the Configuration section, click "SMTP configuration".
Enter the mail relay settings (server, port, authentication, sender), validate, and test with any notification-generating action — an invitation, a parcel notification.
Without SMTP, no invitation, arrival notice or renewal reminder leaves the application.
Configure the Hamilton API connection
In the Configuration section, click "Hamilton API configuration".
Enter the endpoint and credentials provided with your platform, and validate.
Configure the scheduled service (ServiceTache)
In the Configuration section, click "ServiceTache configuration".
Maintain the URLs the background scheduler calls — they execute the tasks defined in "Import data and clean up duplicates".
Good to know
Single sign-on (SSO) and the portal-wide settings are handled with your Hamilton contact and are not covered here.
After a change, test the affected chain end to end: one email, one scheduled run, one API call.
