Where to see your policy
Click your name in the top right corner, then click Work presence.
The policy banner at the top of the page shows the rules that apply to you:
"Service policy" with your department's name, or "Site policy" when your department has no specific policy.
The policy's name.
A red "Blocking" badge or an orange "Informative" badge.
"Minimum on-site days": the number of days per week you must work on site.
"Mandatory days": the weekdays your organization requires everyone on site.
If no policy applies to you, the page says so — you can then plan freely.
Blocking or informative
Blocking: your weekly plan must respect the rules. The page refuses to save a week with fewer on-site days than the minimum, or with a mandatory day set to remote or off.
Informative: the same rules are checked, but only produce a warning — your plan is saved anyway.
Approval
Some policies require your manager's approval:
When you save a plan, the message "Approval required" tells you it was sent for review.
Your planning status shows "Pending validation" until the decision, then "Accepted by" with your approver's name and the date.
Your requests and their statuses (Pending, Approved, Refused, Cancelled) are listed at the bottom of the Work presence page; you can cancel a pending request.
Your manager handles these requests in the Presence approval screen — see "Approve your team's presence plans".
Who defines the policy
Your organization defines site-wide policies.
Your department's manager can define a policy for your department within the limits of the site policy — see "Set the flex office policy for your department".
If a rule seems wrong for your situation, talk to your manager: policies are set per department and can be adjusted.
