Request a password reset
Open your organization's Hamilton Apps address in your web browser.
On the sign-in page, click the "Forgot password" link below the sign-in button.
On the "Forgot password" page, enter the email address associated with your Hamilton Apps account.
Click "Send".
A confirmation message tells you that a reset email has been sent. For security reasons, this message is shown whether or not the email address matches an account, so double-check that you typed the email address your organization uses for your account.
Set your new password
Open the email you received and click the password reset link. The link is valid for 60 minutes and can be used only once.
On the reset page, enter your new password.
Enter the same password again in the confirmation field.
Submit the form.
Your new password must meet all of the following rules:
At least 8 characters
At least one uppercase letter
At least one lowercase letter
At least one digit
At least one special character (for example ! ? % or #)
When the password is accepted, you are redirected to the sign-in page with a confirmation message. Sign in with your username and your new password. A notification email is also sent to confirm that your password was changed.
Troubleshooting
"Invalid or expired link": the reset link is older than 60 minutes or has already been used. Return to the sign-in page and request a new reset email.
"Passwords do not match": the password and its confirmation must be strictly identical. Retype both fields.
"Insufficient password complexity": your new password does not meet one or more of the rules listed above. The message tells you which rules are missing.
"Too many attempts": after several requests in a short time, password reset is temporarily locked. Wait 15 minutes, then try again.
No email received: check your spam folder, and confirm with your administrator which email address is linked to your account.
If you signed in with Microsoft, Google or your corporate single sign-on, your password is managed by your identity provider, not by Hamilton Apps. Use your organization's usual password recovery process instead.
