Before you start
Your organization has its own Hamilton Apps web address (URL). You should have received it from your administrator, typically along with your username.
Hamilton Apps works in any modern web browser, on desktop and mobile.
Sign in with your username and password
Open your organization's Hamilton Apps address in your web browser. The sign-in page appears, showing your organization's logo.
Enter your username in the first field.
Enter your password in the second field.
Click the sign-in button.
If your credentials are correct, you are taken to the site selection or application selection screen. See the article "Choose your application and site" for what happens next.
Sign in with Microsoft or Google
Depending on how your organization has configured Hamilton Apps, you may see additional sign-in buttons below the form:
On the sign-in page, look for the "Sign in with Microsoft" or "Sign in with Google" button under the username and password fields.
Click the button that matches your work account.
Follow your identity provider's prompts to authenticate.
Once authenticated, you are redirected back to Hamilton Apps and signed in automatically.
Your organization may also use single sign-on (SSO). In that case, opening the Hamilton Apps address may sign you in directly with your corporate account, without showing the username and password form.
Change the display language
You can switch the interface language at any time, before or after signing in:
Click the language code in the top right corner of the page (for example EN or FR).
Select your preferred language from the list.
If sign-in fails
If you see the message "Error in the username or password entered", check your username and retype your password carefully, then try again.
After 5 failed attempts, sign-in is temporarily locked for 15 minutes as a security measure. Wait, then try again.
If you cannot remember your password, use the "Forgot password" link below the sign-in button. See the article "Reset a forgotten password".
If you see a message saying you do not have the rights to use the application, or you still cannot sign in, contact your administrator.
Sign out
When you are done:
Click your name in the top right corner of the screen ("Welcome, [your name]").
Select "Log out" from the menu.
Always sign out when using a shared or public computer.
