Configure taxi companies and ride statuses

The taxi module books and tracks rides for visitors and staff. Its configuration lives in three places: the taxi companies, the ride statuses, and the taxi rights deciding who books, consults or manages.

Manage the taxi companies

  1. Open Hamilton Visitor, click Administration, then "Companies management" in the Others section.

  2. Maintain the taxi companies rides can be assigned to.

Manage the ride statuses

  1. In the Others section, click "Ride statuses management".

  2. Maintain the lifecycle statuses (new, confirmed, in progress, done, cancelled): the consultation screen filters on them, and the statistics count rides per status.

Manage the taxi rights groups

  1. In the Rights section, click "Taxi user rights groups management".

  2. Click Add: name the group (mandatory) and select the taxi rights — booking, consultation, history — with the dual-list.

  3. Assign the group to the accounts concerned: the Taxi menu items appear accordingly (see "Book and track taxis for visitors" in the user guides).

Good to know

  • Payment methods and vehicle types used by the booking form are part of the reference data (see "Configure types" and "Configure general settings and reference data").

  • Ride statistics (by status, company, payment method, vehicle type and delay) are in the Graphs catalog.

  • The Taxi module appears only when enabled on your platform.
